- Four Assistant Professors ("Maîtres de conférence") positions at BETA (University of Lorraine, and University of Strasbourg) We are especially interested in the following teaching and research fields (details in each link below):
- One Maitre.sse de conférence position in Economics at the Saint Etienne School of Economics of Université Jean Monnet: Sur le volet pédagogique, la personne recrutée contribuera à l’enseignement en microéconomie appliquée, macroéconomie et analyse de données. Une partie de l’enseignement pourra avoir lieu en anglais. Sur le volet scientifique, la personne recrutée sera rattachée à l’axe « Développement, Institutions, Villes et Régions (DIVeR) » du GATE Lyon Saint-Étienne. Elle mènera des recherches en microéconomie appliquée et en particulier, même si ce n’est pas exhaustif, en économie de l’innovation, économie régionale et urbaine, économie de l’environnement, économie du développement, économie publique ou économie internationale. Les candidat.e.s devront démontrer un potentiel à publier dans les meilleures revues du champ. Il est aussi attendu que les candidat.e.s s’impliquent dans les activités du laboratoire (séminaires, workshops, etc.) et participent au développement des projets de recherche de l’unité. La personne recrutée pourra postuler à un package UJM incluant un fonds de recherche (jusqu’à 60 k€) et une décharge de service d’1/3, potentiellement sur plusieurs années. - Post-doctoral position in behavioral and experimental economics at GATE Lyon Saint-Etienne, Ecully/Lyon, 24 months. The position is funded by the ANR Citizens project (CITIZENS’ Implication in public decision, https://www.gate.cnrs.fr/Citizens/), focused on citizens' involvement in public decision making at the local level, including participation in election and collective deliberation (jury, deliberative assembly, informal group, participatory budget, etc.). The post-doctoral fellow will develop theoretical models, will design and conduct field and/or laboratory experiments, and will use up-to-date econometric methods for the analysis of data, applied to the functioning of institutions of collective deliberation. - 2 Assistant Professorships at ENS Lyon (Maîtres de conférences) Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon) is seeking to hire two Assistant Professors in Economics, affiliated to the Department of Economics and the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict. We are looking for candidates with : - strong theoretical and/or empirical skills; - an ambitious research agenda and a job market paper likely to be published in a top field or top general interest academic journal; - a good international network (long-term stays abroad, during their PhD or as a postdoc in particular). The Assistant Professors will teach within ENS de Lyon’s Department of Economics, in particular within ENS de Lyon's diploma, the master's degree Advanced Economics, and the Bachelor Economics and Society. All master's level courses being in English, the ability to teach in this language is required. An interest in accompanying students throughout their studies and in the diffusion of scientific knowledge is expected. Our Department and Research Center offer a high-quality work environment, with teaching to small and homogenous cohorts, facilitated access to research funds, regular seminars (Econ seminar, graduate seminar, internal seminar) and international workshops (4 to 6 per year). - One assistant professor (Maître de Conférences) position at Aix-Marseille Université, AMSE La personne sera recrutée comme MCF au département de Langues Etrangères Appliquées (LEA), UFR ALLSH, et rattachée à l'AMSE. - One assistant professor (Maître de Conférences) position at IEP Aix-en-Provence, AMSE Le poste, ouvert au recrutement, et susceptible d'être vacant, est un poste de maître de conférences en sciences économiques à l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques d’Aix-en-Provence (Sciences Po Aix), avec une affectation à Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) pour les activités de recherche. Le profil recherché recouvre une spécialisation en politiques environnementales en lien avec les thématiques relatives au commerce international (transport, politiques commerciales, firmes multinationales, compétitivité industrielle, changement climatique). le dossier scientifique devra être solide (à travers des publications dans des revues internationales de haut rang) et devra témoigner d’une insertion dans les réseaux académiques internationaux. - 1 Assistant Professor position with tenure in Economics, University Paris Dauphine – PSL, Paris, France The Department of Economics of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL invites applications to fill up 1 permanent tenured position at the Assistant Professor level (Maître de Conférences) beginning in September 2023. Applications are invited in all fields of Economics. The recruited person is expected to teach at Bachelor's and Master's level and to carry out active research in economics. The quality of the application will notably be assessed by its ability to submit work to leading field or generalist journals. The annual salary is 25,000 ‐ 40,000 Euros after taxes, depending on experience and qualification. We also offer a light teaching load during the first three years (approximately 75 hours/year). Knowledge of French is an asset, though not required. In view of this recruitment process, the Department of Economics organizes “Days at Dauphine” to take place on April 6 ‐ 7, 2023. Candidates to the Assistant Professor position are encouraged to participate in these “Days at Dauphine”. During this event, the candidate will have the opportunity to present her research work (plenary session), as well as to discuss with the members of the Department of Economics more informally during bilateral meetings. If the sanitary conditions allow for it, the event will be organized on site. Yet, on‐line sessions can be organized for foreign candidates upon demand.
